API Access

CHub is an open platform that welcomes developers to build apps on. However, to ensure that the API is used in a correct manner and to keep track of developers, we have removed direct access to the API.

To request access to the API, please open a ticket in our Discord server. Make sure you include the following information so that we can accept the request timely.

  • Your VTC (alternatively, link to the Drivers Hub)
  • Purpose of using the API (e.g. to add real-time statistics to the VTC website)
  • Functions and data needed
  • IP address of your server (must be static)

When granted access, you will be given an API key and the path to the endpoints. You will not be granted access to all Drivers Hubs and all endpoints but specific endpoints that are relevant to your needs. Your API key may have an expiry, after which you must request access again.

CHub reserves the right to revoke the API access from any entity if inappropriate use (including sending excessive requests and igoring rate limit error) is discovered.

If you are interested in building a public tool for CHub, please feel free to reach out to us for further discussion and special API access.

Please note that the access to API is free. Do not trust anyone who sells access of CHub API. If anyone reaches out to you to provide paid API access, report them to the CHub Team immediately.
