How do I update my Steam/Discord account?

In Settings - General - Account Connections, click Update (OAuth) to update your Steam/Discord account. This will redirect you to an authorization page on Steam/Discord, where you'll need to authorize access following their instructions.

How do I update my TruckersMP account?

Your TruckersMP account is usually updated automatically when you connect your Steam account. However, if you didn't have a TruckersMP account when updating or registering with your Steam account, you may need to manually input your TruckersMP user ID to update it. Note that the TruckersMP account must be registered using your Steam account; otherwise, we cannot validate ownership and won't allow you to connect it.

What should I do if it says "Account connected to another user"?

This error may occur if you signed up with both Discord and Steam, resulting in two user accounts. In such cases, contact the staff team in your VTC to delete one of the duplicate accounts. Afterward, you can connect your Discord/Steam account to your remaining account. Do not attempt to delete the duplicate account yourself, as it will incur a 14-day cooldown before deletion.

What should I do if it says "SMTP Configuration Invalid"?

This error may occur when signing up with email or updating your email. It happens when your VTC administrator has not configured a valid SMTP credential. If you have no email on your account, update your Discord account (connected to a valid email) to add an email. If you already have an email and need to update it, contact the staff team in your VTC for assistance.
