Terms of service for the Gecko Bot, this guides our users on how they can use the bot.

General conditions regarding Gecko bot are under this topic.

  1. Our terms and conditions apply to each and every user of Gecko Bot.
  2. By adding Gecko in your server, you agree to these terms of service and the future terms which we may add after a notice.

Terms of Use

General Terms

  1. Intentional command spam or attempts to crash the bot should not be made. This includes executing commands excessively in a short time leading the bot to respond slow or be timed out by Discord API.
  2. Gecko should not be used in Bot spam servers which cause command spam.
  3. The user is responsible for any violation caused by them.
  4. We reserve the rights to prohibit any server or user from using Athix.
  5. We reserve the rights to update terms of service anytime with a notice in the charlws.com Discord server.

Function-specific Terms

  1. [Form] Users are not allowed to create illegal forms, collecting private information including password. We reserve the right to delete illegal forms without notifying the user.
  2. [Chat] Users are not allowed to create spam responses, including but not limited to responding to almost all messages sent in a server, giving excessive roles to users. We reserve the right to delete these "chat actions" without notifying the user.
  3. [Level / Rank] We allow users to set custom rank card background. The background is downloaded from the Internet. We require the users not to use inappropriate background, including but not limited to pornographic, violence. We reserve the rights to disable the function for users using it inappropriately.
  4. [Music] Music is collected from the Internet, fetched using the query string from user. We are not responsible for the content. Users should follow the rules of the server and prevent playing music breaking the rules.
  5. [Translate] The result of the translation is provided by self-hosted translation server (translate.charlws.com) which is based on LibreTranslate. The result is only for refernece and we are not responsible for the result as the training data for such open source project is not large. You should use other services if you need accurate results.
